What I wore for NYE. The Sparkly Red Dress

Red sparkly dress

Happy new year everyone!

It’s 2014! Wow! I sure hope you guys had a fantastic holiday. I did!

I had plans of posting before and after pics of myself getting ready for a New Year’s Eve party, but no such luck. I looked an absolute mess before I got ready! Ha-ha. I have been away from home for the holidays, visiting friends and family and spent very little time on the internet. Anyway, I went to a really posh party with my favorite guy, the most handsome guy that I know :). And let me tell you, I’m so thankful for this picture. It’s the only one that I have of us on NYE. I’m that cheesy, sentimental girl that likes to capture special moments, holidays, birthdays and so on with lots of pictures. A BIG thank you goes to the photographer at the party who stopped us as we walked in. Because of him, I am able to share this picture with you guys to show you what I wore.

So, that red sparkly dress I’m wearing is from Charlotte Russe and it was only $10 bucks! It was on the clearance rack and I purchased it last spring. The moment I saw it, I knew that I was going to wear it on NYE. I also wore sheer black stockings and the shoes which you can’t see in the photo were black pumps. My hair is a week old twist out. I pulled the front back and pinned it into a pompadour.

I hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas and did something fun to ring in the new year. I’m super excited to continue blogging this year and interacting with you all!!

With love,

    1. Heeeey! Aw, thank you!! Yes, 10 bucks! It was a major steal. I bought it right as the stores were transitioning into spring wear. It was sitting there, all lonely on the rack, waiting for a new home :).
I hope you enjoyed your holiday and thank you, I love reading your posts as well!

    1. Hello, my brilliant writer! Ha-ha. How are you? I am so glad to be back on the blog, I was disconnected due to lack of internet. It was the pits I tell you :). Happy new year to you!!

  2. You don’t want to see the fuzzy slippers I wore at my sister’s house on New Year’s Eve. Not glamorous at all! You look festive and ready for a night on the town. Hope you had fun!

Please, share your thoughts!
