Don’t let this happen to you! The Floral Dress Story

Living is not enough. One must also have fashion and flowers.

This was about 3 months ago in Forever 21’s dressing room. I tried on this gorgeous floral dress, and somehow convinced myself that I should not buy it because I had way too many dresses. Huh? I snapped this photo while trying it on, and ended up walking out of the store empty-handed. Why? Because I must have been crazy at that moment! Since then, I have been pretty reminiscent about this dress. Periodically looking at the picture on my phone, and wishing I had just made the purchase :(. Silly me. Maybe I will find something similar next summer? I can only  hope.

What have I learned from this devastating ordeal? When in doubt, say yes to the dress and head to the register!

With love,

    1. Thank you. Have you ever had box braids? I loved them! I can’t wait to get them again. I looked online for the dress, but sadly, I could not find it. 😦 haha. Maybe I should look again now that the season is over.

      1. yeah I had braids once. but they were not done right. the girl did a sloppy job and i took them out after 5 days. urs look good. Did it take long?

        1. WOW. 5 days? Sorry to hear that. Yes, it took a long time! I think it was about 7-8 hours. My braids were 22 inches, that’s why. It was well worth it. The braids lasted 8 weeks.

  1. I like the way you write. LOL. I clicked so fast to see what happened. This is a funny story and I have been there. Leaving something behind and then kicking myself cuz I did not get it. U are gawjus girl.

    1. Yes, normally, if I do something like this, I will go back to the store the next day and get it. But I didn’t realize that I wanted it until it was too late. The rack was empty and the dresses gone! Ugh, it was a sad day. haha. And thank you for the compliment. 🙂

  2. Coulda, woulda, shoulda! Yes, it is a very pretty dress, and I agree, you do have waaaay too many already. But, let’s look at the brighter side of this “ordeal”, you have amazing will power. Me, I would have snatched that dress up quickly.
