Short. Curly. Sweet.

Shea butter twist out

I wanted to share my results of my twist-out using African Shea butter and Organic Coconut oil. My hair has been feeling really dry lately, and I decided to try new products and combinations. Well, the results were nice. My hair was super shiny and soft. It felt really moisturized. I did this twist out on dry hair, so there was little definition. However, there was a nice, deep wave, which is the look I was going for. I used perm rods to curl the ends of my hair.

Shea butter is a great for your skin. The fat of the nut of the African Shea tree (Vitellaria paradoxa) is the source of Shea butter. The traditional use of the butter is to reduce the appearance of fine lines, scars and stretch marks, and to ease a variety of skin irritations, such as psoriasis, eczema and sunburn. In addition to how wonderful it is for your skin, it is also a superb mositurizer for natural hair. Paired with the coconut oil, my hair was nourished, shiny and soft!

With Love,

Nick
